Dana is a Jew. Joni is not. Joni is a pupeteer. Dana is not. Using a mixture of live performance, shadow puppetry and object manipulation "Buttons" explores the themes of memory, family and war. We've performed nationally and internationally, in memory of the 70th Anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz.
"Sort Of Theatre show undoubted promise. Their work is interesting, lively, honest and moving….The show is engaging, well structured and beautifully performed while Phil Maguire’s sound scape skillfully enhances and supports the action. Buttons is a piece that is as elegant as it deceptively simple." - Public Reviews
"I loved it so much I cried in an alleyway afterwards" - Anonymous
